The mountain rose like a titan, its snow-capped peak hidden in swirling clouds, as if the heavens themselves had embraced it. For weeks, he had dreamed of this climb, pushing through harsh winds, narrow ridges, and the silent solitude only the highest peaks could offer. He took off his pack, dropping it with a muffled thud into the soft earth, and sank into the sea of grass, feeling each blade bend beneath his weight.
